What is Hospital Indemnity Insurance?

A plan which pays you benefits when you are confined to a hospital, whether for planned or unplanned reasons.

Plan Rules:

• Eligibility: Eligible full-time and 49% employees (as described on the eligibility page of the benefits guide), spouse and children* (up to age 26)

• Coverage through MetLife

• Benefits do not coincide with health insurance; payments made directly to you

• No Health Questions - EVERY YEAR!

• *Child marital status does not impact benefit eligibility
